Prenatal Yoga
Pregnant woman can benefit from prenatal yoga, especially those looking to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and strengthen muscles in preparation for childbirth. It’s also great for women who want to connect with their bodies and their babies, both emotionally and physically.
Prenatal yoga can be beneficial at any stage of pregnancy, though it’s often recommended to start around the end of second trimester (after the first trimester's more sensitive period).
Before starting prenatal yoga, check with your healthcare provider, especially if you have any pregnancy complications or conditions like high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, or risk of preterm labor.

Postnatal/Postpartum Yoga
Postnatal yoga is a specialized form of yoga designed to support new mothers in the recovery process after childbirth. It focuses on strengthening and healing the body, especially the core, pelvic floor, and lower back, which can be weakened or strained during pregnancy and labor. Postnatal yoga is also designed to help relieve stress, improve mental clarity, and promote emotional well-being after the challenges of childbirth.
Starting postpartum yoga after 8–12 weeks is a great timeframe for most women, especially if you've had a cesarean section or experienced complications during delivery. However, it’s still essential to be mindful of your body’s needs and discuss with your doctor before practicing.

Mom & Baby Yoga
Mom and Baby Yoga is a wonderful way to bond with your little one while also focusing on your own recovery and well-being after childbirth. It combines gentle yoga poses for moms with playful, baby-friendly movements that help strengthen the body, relax the mind, and foster emotional connection between mom and baby. These classes are typically designed for postpartum mothers and can be a fun, low-pressure way to ease back into fitness while spending quality time with your baby.
You can typically start mom and baby yoga once you have had your six-week check-up and your healthcare provider clears you for exercise. If you had a C-section, it’s a good idea to wait until 8-12 weeks before starting yoga to allow for sufficient healing and often suitable for babies from around 6 weeks to 12 months old.
